Learning from your children’s interests and social circle

For most parents, their children remain children in their eyes. Then the realization sets in, their children have grown and have personalities of their own; they have interests which are entirely different from what the parents engage in. Furthermore, their social circle is definitely their circle of relationships. There are instances however, when the children’s interests become the parents’ new venture and the children’s social circle is not so difficult to get in touch with, converse with. Consequently, the parents admit that they are learning from their children’s interests and social circle.

This new dimension of interrelationships is a welcome avenue of becoming attuned  to a possible income generating opportunity. So why not? After all learning indeed has always been established as a never ending reality so why not learning from   one’s children’s interests and social circle?
