Japan’s story about a school child served by almost defunct train station made me cry

There are so many inspiring stories that tug your heart because of its human impact. Sometimes it gets to you when your family life tries to fortify efforts to hug each other. Sometimes the story touches you because of the universal significance of manifesting concern for every child in the world.

Both aspects were present in the story. Let us read it fervently:

The Philippines, being a developing country, has many cases of children who really want to go to school even if it means walking for miles and miles or crossing mountains and rivers and walking through poorly made hanging bridges. Many tv episodes have been shown to bring the phenomenon to our national leaders and somehow something has been done – but never enough.

There remains however, a very urgent need: to care for our young and to give them education if it is the only thing that we can give 😀
