There are shows and there are shows but when you are in one physically, your emotions become affected and you sometimes find yourself star struck. This was my situation when I got a ticket (courtesy of my daughter, proprietor of https://www.mindanaoan.com). At 68 years old and a newbie in New York City, to be able to go around, follow instructions especially to go to AOL Build Studio on my own is quite a feat…like winning a “pageant” in New York City street contest!

In the first two photos, I had to take a photo of Catriona while the official photographers were given the chance to take her photos. Then when there were calls for her to sign photographs, there were so many waiting I had to take the photo with her towering over the other Americans!
The next two photos showed the inside of the Build Studio of AOL and my seatmates, Kababayan (to mean countrypersons)!
The interviewer, Kerry Justich was given the cue to read
the introduction. Then few minutes later: Miss Universe, Catriona Gray (our Miss Philippines) came in.
More people waited even after the interview.
Being a newbie in New York City and a newbie in following instructions how to get to Build Studio on my own (my daughter is working!), I felt like a “winner of the pageant called New York Street and Subway survival contest”.
