Our concept of drinking wine is affected by our preconceived notion that wine is only for men especially those who stay in bars or exclusive venues. I may be one of this breed. However, rare opportunity presented itself, wine was given to us as a gift, social wine drinking comes about.
Having eaten good supper, the main recipe being pork and wine experts recommend red wine, the proper time to open the wine came. On hand is Maria del Mar, Tinto Semidulce (Red Semisweet) recommended by Mr. Oliver Hill, the owner of Wine Cellar located at J.R. Borja Extension, Cagayan de Oro City. The wine felt good to the stomach. Again, the wine enthusiasts refer to this situation the health benefit of red wine. So, a toast to this new discovery!
